Hey WFFLers! I’m Angela, and I’m beyond excited to be your President this year!
Warwick Future Female Lawyers started as a small idea during my Study Abroad in Melbourne - what I initially thought would be a social media initiative to connect women in law rapidly became a mission to set up a society for us on campus.
From the start of my legal journey, through First Year Schemes and Open Days, I have realised just how essential it is for us to be in environments that celebrate our diversity. Juggling applications while balancing everything else as a student is not an easy feat - I wanted to create a supportive and empowering space that combats toxic competitive energy specifically for women.
After making WFFL’s first post, the response was incredible - I was truly overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm it received. The direction for WFFL from that point quickly transformed into creating a fully-fledged society at Warwick, because it became so clear that Warwick needed a community like this for aspiring female lawyers.
I can’t wait for all the exciting things we have planned for you this year and for where Executive Committees take WFFL for years to come. Thank you for being a part of our first ever year of existing!

Welcome to Warwick Future Female Lawyers! We're a new society here at Warwick, and our goal is simple: to make the legal industry more accessible to aspiring female lawyers. We all know that the legal world can sometimes feel like a tough place to break into - especially for women - when leadership and traditions don’t always reflect the diversity we want to see.
That’s where WFFL comes in. As your fellow students, we’re here to support you by providing practical resources, insights, and events that help you feel ready to take on challenges ahead. Whether you’re looking for mentorship, networking opportunities, or just a community of like-minded women, we’ve got your back!
